“What the fuck are you doing here?” he snaps.

My back hits the wall with a heavy thud, rattling my brain. “I work here, jerk.” I exhale, looking down to my arm, his red handprint on the skin.

“No, you don’t” his chest rumbles, a woodsy scent overwhelms me as his warm body pushes up against mine. “

Try again?” He tells me, my heart ricochets in my chest.

All of him is against me. It’s intrusive, violent, delicious, rendering me useless.

Planting my hands on his muscular chest I pathetically push against him to give me space. “Let me go, now,” I demand, weakly.

A grunting sound reverberates from his chest, the asshole is actually growling at me, almost predatory, breathing me in like a wolf would a rabbit

I will myself to stay calm, not show how effected by him I am, but my body doesn’t listen.

He pushes forward, and my insides squirm, my hips involuntarily tilting toward his.

“I do work here, asshole. What the hell? You can’t just go around manhandling people. And this is for employees only. You can’t be back here,” I snap, searching the hallway for aid while trying and failing to wiggle free.

“I can be wherever the fuck I want to be,” he snarls, flexing his hips, implying he doesn’t just mean in this corridor, but inside me too if he pleased.

The entitled arrogant fuck. A wave moves through my body, heating my cheeks and dampening my panties.

“I’m surprised you even remember me.” My voice comes out weak and pathetic, needy.

A smirk tugs at the corner of his mouth. “No one has ever spoken to me the way you did and lived to tell about it.” His words cause a sweat to break out up my spine.

What does he mean by that? “You look different,” he tells me, studying my face. The narrow walls closing in.

“Maybe because I’m not bleeding,” I force the words out, swallowing the tension pulsing through my body.

His eyes drop to my lips, his pupils expanding. When he leans in, I hold my breath, not sure if I’m dreaming this or it’s really happening.

He tugs my bottom lip between his teeth, and although I know I should knee him in the balls, I whimper instead, terrified and curious all at once.

He bites down, and I shudder, the pain sending a shock through my bloodstream.

“There,” he groans, licking his lips. Reaching up with his thumb, he smears the blood blossoming from my wound over my lips. “That’s better.”

And then he’s strutting away, and I’m left panting in his wake, touching a fingertip to my lips watching his departure.

Hannah appears from the back office, her brow raised, arms crossed. “I see you’ve met Mr. Leto.”

Mr. Leto?

Well…shit.

Chapter Thirteen

Luca

Barging into Marcello’s office, and slamming the door, pacing his carpet, the smug asshole grins at me.

“I take it you met our new employee.”

“Why the hell would you hire her?” I seethe, my cock still straining my slacks.

Seeing her here completely threw me off guard. There’s something about her. I want to rip her fucking clothes off and paint her creamy skin in my cum. She has to go.

“Get rid of her.”

“Oh, come on. She’s harmless. Just lost her mother to cancer. Her family owns a farm, but it’s in fucking debt. She moved to the big city to go it alone.”

“Are you writing a book on the needy?” I snap. “I don’t give a fuck about any of that. And why the hell do you know all of that shit?” I run a hand through my hair, agitated. Every nerve ending is lit without an outlet.

Marcello leans back on the leather couch he uses instead of an office chair, his laptop set up on a coffee table. “Of course, I was going to look into who the hell she was, Luca. You put half a million down for her.”

My eyes narrow on him, pinning him to his seat. “That was Mother’s money. She’d want it to go to something she loved. It wasn’t for some fucking stranger who means nothing. Don’t get it twisted.”

I hate that I got her a place, that Marcello was with me that day and saw our interaction. I feel vulnerable, exposed, and I can’t have that.

“Fire her, Marcello, or I’ll cut off your balls,” I warn. Exiting his office, I slam the door against the back wall, hearing the faint thud as something falls.

Entering my office, I flick the lock and lean against the wall. Freeing my cock from my slacks, it’s heavy in my palm.

The air from the room chases over my shaft, and I hiss out. Gripping the throbbing head, I fuck my fist, thinking about Alyssa’s shocked eyes, parted lips, and accelerated breathing.

If I would have dipped into the waistband of her panties, she would have been soaked. The girl wasn’t intimidated by me, and that made her either stupid or brave.
