“Oh, fuck,” Madison gasped as she wrapped her arms around my neck, holding me close as I drove into her over and over again. The new angle made her legs tighten around me.

I knew that I hit a sweet spot. That always worked. I buried my face in the crook of her neck, grabbing her tightly as I pounded into her, making her moans sound louder and louder. Heat coursed through my entire body, and I was starting to get close too. I made my movements count, our bodies grating together as we moved together.

“Come on, sugar,” I murmured near her ear. “Come for me.”

Madison dug her nails into my shoulder blades, pressing in deep as she was struck by another intense orgasm. Her moans rose near my ear as she held onto me tightly.

I gripped her just as tightly as I came, burying myself inside of her. I breathed in and out heavily, catching my breath as I started to come down from the bliss. I couldn’t remember the last time that an orgasm hit me that hard. Heat covered every inch of my body as we held each other for a few moments.

I breathed in the scent of her hair, closing my eyes for a second. I then realized what I was doing. I couldn’t get that close. I only brought her here to fuck her, not to cuddle with her. I rolled off her, laying on my back as I recovered. I turned my head to peer at her, uncontrollably admiring the soft blush on her cheeks.

“So, how was your first business gala?” I asked her with a breathless chuckle.

“It was pretty good,” Madison laughed softly. She then yawned, rubbing her eyes tiredly.

Her exhaustion was contagious because I yawned soon after. I pushed my hand into my hair, feeling my eyes grow heavy. I needed some rest after that intense session, but I also had to get her back to her car.

“I’ll take you back to your car in a minute. I just need to catch my breath,” I told her. I didn’t let people sleep over. That usually made people think that I was involved or something. It was easier to end things right after sex so that we could both move on with our lives instead of wondering if there could be more between us.

“Okay. Thank you,” Madison said, nodding to me. She looked up at the ceiling and closed her eyes, breathing in and out steadily.

I did the same, taking a moment to rest. Warmth still buzzed all over my body, covering every inch of skin. I found myself wanting to touch her again, to feel her soft skin against mine. I forced my hands to stay where they were, though. There was no need to complicate this, even if deep down I wanted to.

My desires were just desires. I didn’t take them seriously. If I did, I would get myself into trouble. Madison and I didn’t go into this with the intention of something more. At least I didn’t. Maybe I needed to make myself clear about that, but that was a conversation for another time.

Tonight was nice, though. I actually had a great time, and it was probably the most memorable gala that I had ever been to. I wouldn’t forget about this night for a while, and I had a feeling that she would be stuck in my head even more now. I wondered if I had made a mistake by crossing the line with her. I had drawn a boundary for myself that I completely ignored. When it came to Madison, it was like my boundaries didn’t even exist to me. I did what I wanted, what I desired. Hopefully, I hadn’t messed everything up and wandered into a place of no return.

Chapter 11

Madison

I woke up slowly the next morning, squinting my eyes against the morning sunlight that peeked through a nearby window. It took me a few seconds to realize that my window was on the opposite side of me for some reason. I usually woke up with the sun facing me from my left. Now, it was on my right.

I opened my eyes, letting them take in my surroundings. Panic immediately struck me when I realized I wasn’t in my room. I was in Tyler’s bedroom! Memories from last night flooded my mind, filling me with worry and shock. I couldn’t believe that I actually slept with the CEO of the company that I was interning for. Was I insane?

I turned my head and looked down to see Tyler snoozing beside me. As handsome as he looked in the morning light, I couldn’t get over the panic that I felt. I did something completely reckless last night. Of course, I wanted it then and didn’t put up a hint of a fight when he took me back to his place, but my head obviously wasn’t clear last night. There were real consequences to what we did last night. Bosses and interns weren’t meant to sleep together! There was an obvious power dynamic, even if he hadn’t used it on me. People would either think that he took advantage of me or that I slept my way into getting my internship. Both weren’t good implications.
