I barely make it to my car before my cock is in my hands and I’m jerking it to thoughts of her. There’s no way in hell I’d make it throught the rest of my classes with this raging hard on. It helped, but something tells me, jerking off will never be enough when it comes Jinny Spruce.

CHAPTER 3

JINNY

Nothing like my dogs to make me feel better. As soon as I walk in the door to Fur Babies Spa, my dogs know it. I hear them before I turn the corner. The guy, I think he said his name was Tim this morning, turns to me and smiles. I can’t do anything but blush. I am not used to this much attention. “Have they been going crazy all day?” I ask him, waiting for him to open the gate.

“Nah. They were angels. After their massage, they slept for over an hour then went out for exercise.” Massage. Well, aren’t they lucky? The moment I am inside the gate, he opens the one that leads to the animals and my four lovebugs come charging me. Giggling, I hit the floor when Vixen jumps on me and I laugh as they all proceed to lick me to death.

“Alright, alright. I missed you too.” Using the universal sign for sit, I make them sit and wait for me to get up. Tim walks over, holds out his hand and helps me up.

“Thanks. They are usually a little more reserved,” I tell him feeling a tad embarrassed he saw me get jumped, even if it was with love, by my own dogs.

“Don’t think nothing of it. They missed you. I don’t blame them,” he mutters before walking out of the room. I am so glad he left because I wouldn’t know what to say to that. Turning back to my fur babies that are sitting so patiently, I call them each by name.

“Dancer.” I started calling him that when I noticed that everytime music played, his tail wagged to the beat and his little paws tapped on the floor. He happily comes to me and I bend, meeting him halfway for a kiss and a treat. Luckily they keep some in a bowl on the counter. “Good boy.” Then the next one. “Prancer.'' He got his name because he was the oldest of the litter and has always been the most… mature of you will. He walks with the gait of a dog that knows he is the leader. Then I have Dasher. He is my runner. Do you want to talk about the zoomies? Well his are morning, noon and night. And finally there is my Vixen. She was the only girl in the litter and well, might as well stick with the names.

Once all of them have been properly greeted, I grab their leashes and we walk home. My mind keeps going back to Professor Wyatt. God. Could I have made a worst first impression? And in front of someone so freaking sexy?

By the time we make it home I barely have time to put out their food, put mine in the microwave, and change clothes before my phone alerts me to an incoming video call. Excited, I run for the phone and damn near trip over Vixen’s chew toy. “Oomph. Dang it.” Out of breath, I finally reach it.

“I’m here. I’m here,” I say falling onto the bed. They giggle when my hair falls into my face.

“We thought you were buried alive by your dogs. I was going to send out a search party.” They speak at once.

“I’m fine. How are all of you?” My six best friends and I met in college. We all pledged the same sorority and became instant friends. Each of us is different in some kind of way, but we never saw the differences.

“We are all fine,” Hope says, drinking a coffee. She works the latest sometimes, so she often powers up on caffeine. “It is you we called to talk to. You were so nervous for this class so we just wanted to know how it went.

“Jinny,” Scarlett says my name like she knows I am trying to hide something.

“You guys, it was a disaster.” I tell them everything from dropping off my babies to the end of class. I hold my breath not sure what they're going to say.

“Holy shit.”

“Well fuck.”

“So sorry hun.”

“Well, it is only the first day once, right?” See why I love them.

“Let’s focus on the fact that Jinny has finally met someone who makes her want to have a holly jolly Christmas.” Oh my God.

“You did not just say that.” We all say to Sassy. I burst into laughter, my stomach convulsing. We continue the conversation, by trying to convince them no matter what, I can’t go there. They're trying to convince me not to be so sure.
