Would she have a nice tight cunt?

Would she beg for him to not stop?

As he stepped up to the bar, Amelia laughed again at one of Val’s jokes, and he didn’t like that.

Amelia was his. Her smiles were all his.

Her gaze turned toward his, and he saw the shock in them.

“Wolfe,” she said.

“Amelia.” He nodded at her, and then toward the fridge.

Val smirked at him and he glared. The man before him could have been one of them, but he had opted to stick to his bar, and for the first time, he didn’t like the thought of this man being anywhere near his woman.

Amelia’s not mine.

She placed a bottle of beer in front of him and immediately grabbed a cloth, cleaning up the mess around him. Empty nut casings, spilled beer, probably spit, and other stuff that he didn’t want to think about.

His gaze was on Amelia. Just her. No one else.

The bar was humming with activity. They should be more cautious with the threat of the hunters, but he wasn’t in the mood to be an asshole today.

No, there was only one person he wanted, and she was someone he couldn’t truly have.

****

Amelia didn’t want to show her excitement.

Wolfe was back at the bar.

Val was there watching everything. He’d been trying to convince her to go hunting with him. To see that embracing her wolf and their natural nature was okay. Amelia didn’t have a problem with what the pack wanted to do.

This was her choice.

Also, her wolf, although strong and able to defend herself, didn’t want to. Amelia was in touch with her inner wolf. It had taken many moons of meditation and embracing herself to finally become attuned to her wolf.

From what she knew of the pack, it took years for a lot of men and women to know their wolf. Some never understanding their alternative body. Not her.

It was the first thing she did. She never wanted to fall victim to her wolf, or wake up somewhere not knowing what she did, or who she was with. It was how she’d remained a virgin for so long. A twenty-five-year-old virgin within a wolf pack was completely unheard of. They were highly sexual beings.

Out of the corner of her eye, she watched as Wolfe swallowed a mouthful of beer. Even his neck looked sexy.

What the hell was wrong with her?

“You okay, Amelia?” Val asked.

“Yeah, yeah, I’m fine.” She offered her boss a smile, but it didn’t quite reach her eyes.

Leaving the bar, she grabbed her tray and made the rounds of picking up used glasses and empty beer bottles.

Most of the time, the pack members were utter slobs. If she didn’t clean up after a full house like this, the mess would take her hours to clean. None of them used the recycle trash cans she left. Nor did they return the empties to the bar.

A few times, she had to dodge a swinging arm or elbow. The leg was a new one, but it looked like they were trying to show off some elusive dance move. She was not going anywhere near that. It looked fucking dangerous.

All the while she worked, she was aware of Wolfe.

The leather cut commanded respect. The Poison Wolves MC were celebrities in the pack.

Tucking a stray curl around her ear, she made her way back to the bar. At least with no one caring about her existence, she could allow herself the opportunity to look.

A couple of women were eyeing him up. Everyone wanted a piece of Wolfe. Some of them just wanted to be the ones to tame him.

None of the MC had settled down. No mate, no woman. Nothing.

She knew there were a lot of biker groupies. Her mother, at one point, had been one of those biker groupies. This was before she got pregnant with her, and then, of course, settled down with Amelia’s father.

Well, the guy she assumed was her father.

Amelia rarely allowed herself to dwell on her parents. They’d never seen eye to eye on a lot of things. At times, life with them had been complicated as she had constantly felt their disapproval. Neither of them wanted anything to do with her, and she thought it would break her heart, but for the most part, she’d been fine with it. It probably helped that for several years, she heard them talking that by the time she hit maturity, they would have no reason to continue listening to or seeing her nonsense.

She ducked as an elbow came toward her and quickly made her way toward the bar. Val looked like he was angry with her. He wasn’t happy since their little backyard episode. After one glance at Wolfe, for some odd reason, he looked equally pissed.

For the remainder of the night, she continued to serve, collect, and clean. When Val had enough, he made the announcement of last call, which to him meant last drink and then fuck off.
