I tossed my head back as I laughed. “Exactly.”

When the elevators opened, I moved to one back corner while Brighton went to the other. An older couple was standing in the middle of the elevator talking about the play they’d been to, completely unaware of the sexual tension building around them.

I glanced over at Brighton and smiled. She was looking at me like she wanted to rip my clothes off, to hell with the older couple.

The elevator doors opened and the couple stepped out, leaving us alone. Once the doors shut, I slipped my hands into my pants pockets and Brighton fiddled with her clutch.

“You had to get a room on the top floor?” she asked.

“I got a suite; I thought you’d be more comfortable.”

She tilted her head—and what came out of that pretty little mouth of hers nearly had me falling to the ground. “I don’t need a suite, Luke. All I need is a comfortable bed we can fuck in.”

I swept my tongue over my suddenly dry lips before I whispered, “I think I just fell in love with you.”

The little minx winked at me and then opened her purse and took out her phone. She hit a few buttons and put the phone to her ear. The doors opened and we both walked out into the hall.

“You’re making a call?” I asked. “Now?”

She nodded. “I am.”

“Who are you calling?”

Before she could answer, she smiled. “Hey, Mom! Yeah, I’m exhausted and heading home. The party was nice. Oh, he was okay, nothing to really look at.”

I stopped walking and faced her. She looked at me with mock surprise.

“Okay? Nothing to look at?” I whispered.

Brighton pushed her finger to my lips and shook her head. “Sorry, Mom. This one isn’t going to work out. He’s gay. Totally not into me at all.”

I pulled her hand away from my mouth and placed it right over my hard cock.

Her eyes dropped to where her hand was, then she looked back up to me. “I’ve got to go, Mom. Talk to you tomorrow.”

She hit End with her thumb and looked down again. Her hand started to move along my length, and I could hear her breathing pick up a bit.

Brighton slowly lifted her gaze to mine and said, as cool as a cucumber, “Well, if the whole acting gig doesn’t work out, I’m pretty sure you could do porn from the size of this baby.”

All I could do was laugh and pull her to me. Our mouths pressed together in a heated kiss as I walked her back until she hit the wall by the elevator. I moved my hands over her body, feeling the soft satin of her dress. It was a fucking tease. I needed to see her naked. Feel her against me.

Brighton drew her head back and looked up at me. “I don’t know about you, but I really don’t want our first time to be in a hallway.”

“Why did you lie to your mom?” I asked.

She shrugged. “She’ll hound me for days if I tell her the truth.”

I nodded and kissed the tip of her nose before I took her hand in mine and led her down the hall to the very last room. I unlocked it and opened the door, motioning for her to walk in first.

Letting out a whistle, Brighton slowly shook her head and set her purse on the side buffet table. “Holy crap. Look at the view! I can see the whole city.”

I shut the door and watched as she made her way through the suite. There was a small kitchenette to the right along with a four-chair table a little farther into the room. A large sofa sat near the windows with a few accent chairs placed opposite. The door to the bedroom was toward the small kitchen area.

“This suite is bigger than my condo,” she said with a giggle.

I really liked that sound and made a mental note to make her laugh as much as I could.

Brighton walked up to the window and gasped. “There’s a balcony, Luke!”

She opened the door and stepped out into the cold night while I placed her coat and mine over the chairs. I started to make my way to her, undoing my tie. “You’re going to freeze out there, Brighton.”

“Call me Bree,” she said over her shoulder. The moonlight cast a beautiful glow on her skin and seemed to make her dress sparkle. She had a huge smile on her face as she drew in a deep breath and took in the city view.

God, she was breathtaking.

“Okay, you really are going to freeze,” I said. “Come in here.”

She turned and came back in before I slid the door shut.

“I wasn’t worried,” she said. “I’m sure we’ll be hot here in a little bit.”

Laughing, I tossed my tux jacket on the sofa while she slipped her shoes off and set them to the side.
