All I can think about is two things, protecting her and claiming her as mine in every way. Strangling the steering wheel, I force myself to simply breathe, but every breath I take contains a whiff of her floral scent, and like a wolf hunting its prey, I’m crazed with need. We drive for a few minutes; the car is filled with silence beside the sound of her ragged breathing.

“How did you end up with Drake?” I finally ask.

“I-I don’t know. My mind is fuzzy… I don’t remember.” She wraps her arms around herself, hugging her torso like she is about to fall apart. The way she looks right now hits me square in the chest, knocking the air from my lungs. I have to protect her, make sure she’s okay at the very least, then I’ll figure out what I’m going to do with her next. First though, I need to ensure that she’s safe, make sure she knows that she doesn’t have anything to fear.

“That’s fine. It’ll come to you eventually. I just want you to know that I won’t hurt you, no one will.” I pause, giving her a moment to digest what I’ve said. “Everything is going to be okay. Don’t worry about a single thing.”

She doesn’t look up at me or say anything, and I know I’ll have to prove myself to her, earn her trust.

By the time we get to my house—some would call it a mansion—she is passed out, her head lulling against the window as I park in the driveway. For a long moment, I stare at her, drink her in like she’s a glass of the finest whiskey the world has to offer. Even in the dim lighting, she is absolutely stunning, her beauty undeniable. She reminds me of a doll, soft, fragile, the complete opposite in every way of me. Her body is relaxed now, her legs slightly parted, the view of her pussy playing peekaboo with me. I have to force myself to look away before I make good on taking her and claim her right here in the car.

With my cock already painfully hard and pressing against the zipper of my jeans, I know it wouldn’t take much persuasion from the organ. Pushing the lustful thoughts away, I get out of the car as quietly as I can, but as soon as I open the door on her side, she startles awake, looking around the car disoriented and scared.

All I want to do is hold her in my arms, but when I reach for her, she flinches, her eyes darting past me like she is planning on running away. I wouldn’t even try, sweetheart. I think to myself. The fear in her eyes dulls when I slide my arms under her small body and pick her up.

“I told you, you’re safe with me. Just relax. I won’t hurt you.” I know I’ve already told her this a few times, but I think I’m going to have to tell her over and over again before it actually sinks in. Normally, I hate repeating myself, or maybe I’m just not used to doing so since my men know to listen the first time. Either way, I don’t care what I have to do to make sure she feels comfortable. It’s like all my rules and expectations have been turned upside down when it comes to her.

Taking into consideration that I’ve known her for less than an hour, I would say I’m fucked. She already has an unexplainable hold on me, and I know I’d kill any bastard, break any law, and give up every single thing I have for her without question. I don’t know why I am so enamored by this tiny woman, but there is something about her, something so precious so… extraordinary, there aren’t even words to explain how she makes me feel. All I know is that she belongs to me. Every part of her, and soon that won’t just be mentally but physically.

Looking down at her, I see that her eyes are squeezed closed almost as if she’s trying to escape a scary dream. I carry her into the house and up the stairs, glad that I called my staff and told them to get lost. I didn’t want anyone in the house that could scare her even further. Or maybe I just wanted to be alone with her. No matter the reason, it’s just us now.

Directing my attention back to Rose, I know she’s not asleep by the way she is breathing. Heavy and labored like she is frightened. In the car, when she dozed off, her breathing was even and quiet.

Without even thinking, I walk into my bedroom. My house has six bedrooms, but there is only one room she’ll be sleeping in, and that’s mine. Gently, I place her down on the mattress, and as soon as I release her, her eyes fly open, and panic overtakes her features.
