I gasped when I felt him, his enormous dick pushing past my entrance and penetrating deep inside me.

His hand fisted my hair like a leash, and he kept me pinned down, his other hand pressed into my lower back to make my ass stick out more. Like he wasn’t the least bit satisfied after releasing into my mouth, he pounded into me as if he was desperate for a reprieve, as if he’d never fucked me before.

Hard and fast, the headboard tapped against the wall like the beat of a song.

My hair was all over the place, obscuring my vision, making the air hot against my face. My hands flattened against the bed with my elbows bent, but he snatched both of my wrists and pinned them against the small of my back.

My body jerked with his thrusts, and the weight of his body pressed me so deep into the mattress that my clit rubbed against it. I rarely felt pleasure in my line of work, and I had to imagine my own fantasies to keep my body wet, but this was the second time he’d commanded my body to do the impossible. He forced me into a climax, made my hips buck against the mattress, made my incoherent moans muffle against the duvet.

He came immediately afterward. If he were a lover, I’d assume it was intentional, but Cauldron didn’t strike me as the kind of man that cared about anyone’s pleasure but his own. He owned me—so my feelings were irrelevant.

His cock twitched inside me after he was finished, and with a sigh of satisfaction, he let me go. His weight lifted off me, he pulled up his trousers, and then he walked out as if nothing had happened.

As if I was nothing.

TEN

CAMILLE

My job as a courtesan was simple.

I fulfilled their fantasies, and every guy’s fantasy was to be good in bed.

I was so good at faking it that nobody could tell the difference.

But with Cauldron…I didn’t have to.

Another unusual thing about Cauldron? He did all the work. I was the one who was supposed to tease him with a strip show, to give him a lap dance that made him hard as steel, to instigate every rendezvous, to fulfill his fantasies without asking what they were. But Cauldron was the one in charge, was the one who issued the orders, and all I had to do was obey. I didn’t have to think about anything at all.

That was a nice change.

I woke up late the following morning since he’d woken me up in the middle of the night. I couldn’t go back to sleep for hours, so by the time I made it downstairs to the parlor, it was already lunchtime.

And Cauldron had company.

Three guys joined him on the balcony, having lunch while they smoked cigars. They were all dressed business casual. Cauldron was in a sports coat with a white shirt underneath, his ankle resting on the opposite knee, his handsome face furrowed in concentration as he listened to one of the guys speak.

He must have felt my stare because his eyes shifted to me through the window.

A surge of flashbacks hit me. My hands clasped behind my back. My moans muffled against the duvet. His hand tight on my neck as he slammed his big cock inside me. It all happened in an instant, an instant I wondered if he felt too.

He brought the cigar to his lips and took a puff before he released the smoke from his mouth. Espresso eyes were locked on mine as he ignored his company. His eyes always looked displeased, always looked irritated, but his features remained handsome, regardless of his mood. The other guys seemed to notice Cauldron’s distraction and turned to look at me through the window.

They all stared.

I broke eye contact and walked away from the window. It wasn’t until I was in a different hallway that I felt Cauldron’s stare truly disappear. I walked down a different hallway and found Pius along the way.

“Mademoiselle, I’ve fixed you some breakfast if you’re hungry.”

“What’s on the menu?”

“Savory crepes and French toast.”

Damn, that sounded good. “Let’s do it.”

He led me to the dining room. “Unless you would like some lunch items? I realize it’s past noon.” He pulled back the chair for me and helped me sit down.

“No, that sounds perfect. Thanks.”

“Of course.” He returned a moment later and filled the table with my meal. There was a glass carafe of coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. The food was sizzling hot, so I wasn’t sure how he pulled that off. “Enjoy your breakfast.” He set the newspaper beside me then left the room.

Pius treated me like I was no different from Cauldron, whereas Hugo took shots at me every chance he could, even insulting my appearance. I was in the loungewear provided for me, dark blue pajama bottoms and a white sweater that hung off one shoulder. I wasn’t the kind of woman who put on makeup the second I opened my eyes, so my face was all-natural. Hugo wouldn’t hesitate to give me a judgmental look.
