It was a sentence I’d never thought I’d say…but it was a good rule.

Bishop snickered and grinned as he turned back toward the bathroom where the windows were now going up and down. “Yep, no sticky penises. But he’s probably going to need a shower before he goes to work.”

Yes, very true.

We’d cleaned him up as best we could once he’d crashed, but there was only so much a washcloth could do.

“So food, pup time, and then a shower.” He’d get to work eventually.

****

Maybe Ian could roll to work?

With the number of pancakes he’d consumed, with whipped cream to top them off, of course, I wasn’t sure he’d be able to get there any other way.

Ian didn’t seem to know this, though, and was bouncing in his seat like an overcaffeinated monkey. “Now? Is it time yet?”

Bishop was nearly giggling and almost as excited as Ian, but he was more subtle.

Well, he was slightly more subtle.

“Now, Uncle Cohen?” Bishop chimed in with a teasing tone making Ian laugh so hard he almost slipped out of his chair.

Now seemed to be the best idea so they didn’t get hurt or into trouble.

“Plates to the sink and we need to wash hands.” That got both of them moving in a flash, plates put where I’d asked as they nearly bounced out of the kitchen.

I’d been envisioning Bishop washing Ian’s hands, but the way Ian dragged him from the room had me questioning who was going to be taking care of whom.

Shaking my head and ignoring the way they ran through the house clomping and laughing, I rinsed the plates and finished cleaning up a few things before I went to the living room. The giggle coming from the bathroom said they’d gotten distracted, but it gave me time to get the gear out and make sure the right curtains were closed so we had privacy.

By the time Ian zoomed his excited pup back out to the living room, I had everything laid out and ready. Which was a good thing because Ian started stripping Bishop before they’d even come to a halt and Bishop almost fell over his sweats, which were now down by his ankles.

“I think it will be faster if I help too, cutie.” It would certainly be safer, so I quickly walked over and helped a bouncing Ian take the rest of Bishop’s clothes off.

Thankfully proceeding without incident, we managed to get Bishop naked without killing him or ending up in the emergency room.

I would’ve loved to have said he nudged Ian into making better decisions or at least going slower, but he was nearly as excited as Ian, so he was no help at all.

Uncle Cohen to the rescue?

At the very least I kept them safe as Ian hurried to figure out where Bishop’s pup was hiding as he tugged at our delighted pup’s arm. “We lost him. He was stuck too long. We’ll help.”

I wasn’t sure that was the way pups worked but arguing about it seemed ridiculous.

“We’re very good at helping. I don’t think it will be a problem, cutie.” As long as they slowed down it wouldn’t be a problem. “Let’s start by giving our pup cuddles. How does that sound?”

I thought it would be the safest plan, and thankfully Ian nodded. “Yes, we can cuddle his pup out. Come lie down with us, pup.”

Tugging on Bishop’s hand again, Ian got them both down to the carpet where at least they couldn’t fall. Something about sitting also seemed to bring the energy in the room down because the frantic excitement eased as Bishop laid his head in Ian’s lap.

Ian started cooing to the puppy and petting Bishop’s head, promising to throw the ball for him if he came out and played. It must’ve worked because Bishop quickly relaxed and something about the way he moved his head and limbs made it clear his pup was ready to play.

Picking up the hood, I held it out to Ian. “We need to be careful so we don’t poke him, but would you like to help?”

More frantic nods from Ian said it’d been a stupid question, but Ian’s movements were gentle as Bishop sat up on all fours. As the hood went on, I showed Ian how to fasten it and we spent several more minutes petting our pup and telling him what a pretty doggie he was.

Thankfully getting his mitts and kneepads on went quicker, but once we got to the tail, Ian’s eyes widened. I had no idea if it was because he’d never played with plugs or toys like this with anyone else where he’d done the penetrating or if littlish Ian just didn’t do things like that, but I was left not knowing quite what to do.

So I ignored it and let him figure it out.
