I could think of a thousand different ways to get him off, some including me and some where I simply watched, but I was flexible. I’d be happy as long as I got to see him come completely undone for me.

The shiver that racked his body said he’d liked something, even if I wasn’t sure which had caught his attention.

Thankfully, he didn’t make me guess.

“You would…I mean, you wouldn’t find the second to be weird?”

Weird?

My list of questions was growing by the second, but for the time being, I focused on one thing at a time. “No, I think making you come like that would be incredible.”

Getting to control him when he was feeling submissive and vulnerable would be beautiful…and erotic.

Slowly stroking up and down his back, I nuzzled against him as our dancing slowed to barely moving back and forth. “Are you ready to show me? I can’t even try to seduce you until I see your pup. You gave me a very clear but frustrating boundary, and I’m trying very hard to be good.”

That got a giggle out of him and it seemed like the happy Bishop was coming back to the surface. “It’s very hard. You’re obviously an incredible Dom.”

My chest jerked with silent laughter, but I managed to nod and hold it in. “I am. I’m glad you can recognize that.”

More quiet laughter escaped, and he was smiling as he straightened. Kissing my cheek, he stepped back and looked toward the duffel bag he’d brought in. “I’d like to show you now.”

Mirroring a kiss on his cheek, I nodded. “Thank you.”

I knew how much of his trust he was giving me, but I didn’t want to draw attention to it yet. I’d tell him how proud I was and fawn all over him after he’d shown me his pup and had come his brains out. Telling him now might make him nervous or distract him.

Once he made the decision, though, he seemed confident, like the hardest part had been getting to that point. It made me curious if he would make every decision like that, and I couldn’t wait to spend enough time with him to figure it out.

“You’ve got the silliest grin on your face.” He smiled, kissing my cheek one more time before quickly striding over to his bag.

I’d always considered myself to be a fairly fit, broad guy, but Bishop seemed to swallow up the extra space in the room and made it impossible to look away. It got even more difficult when he leaned over and wiggled his ass cheekily.

He knew exactly what he was doing because he turned his head and peeked back at me. As he winked, he pushed the tip of the tail just out of the bag and wagged it at me. “Are you ready?”

“I’m ready, pup.” I’d been ready for this my entire life…I just hadn’t realized it until now.

Bishop must’ve seen a hint of what I was thinking on my face because he blushed sweetly as he shook his head. “You’re just trying to make me squirm.”

Maybe.

I was also trying to make him naked.

“Do you want help or privacy, pup?” I might not know the exact dynamics at play, but it seemed a good place to start.

He licked his lips as he straightened, clearly thinking about what he wanted or maybe how to explain what he wanted. “I’m going to stop asking you second-guessing kind of questions and just take you at your word when you give an order or ask a question.”

Good…because after a while, answering everything over and over would get frustrating for both of us.

Nodding slowly, I kept my gaze on his. “I won’t lie to you, pup. I might accidentally offend you, but I won’t lie or say something I don’t mean.”

Bishop flashed me a cheeky grin, probably over the offending him remark, but he didn’t tease me about it. “Thank you.”

“You’re welcome.” It was my turn to smile as he slowly walked back to me, looking confident and teasing as he held out the bag.

“I would like help, Sir.” There was just a hint of worry still in his eyes, so I reached up and cupped his cheek, slowly caressing it with my thumb as I took the bag from him.

“I would be glad to help, pup.”

This was going to be the best first date ever.

Chapter 7

Bishop

This was the strangest first date ever.

He was polite and interested in me.

He was a functional adult who seemed to have a real job.

And best of all, he was excited to see my pup.

Part of me realized how low my expectations had gotten if the short list was mind-blowing, but I’d think about it later. For now, I was going to do my best not to think at all, and I just hoped it would be as easy as it was when I was alone.
