He’d wanted to tell her it was all lies, but when it came to Gabrielle, how she acted, it wasn’t lies. There was a story here, a history that he didn’t know about. So, he agreed to Gabrielle’s request to wear a suit. She had made sure it was specifically made for him. All his measurements, every little detail. He liked the feel of it against his skin, not that he’d tell her that.

“How are you two holding up?” Myth asked.

He glared at his friend. There was no time for small talk.

Rosalie didn’t even pay him attention. It was like he didn’t exist, which only served to piss him off. He gritted his teeth and stared out the window.

“Your marriage is going to be so boring if you can’t even talk to each other on the ride to a party.” Myth let out a whoop.

“Are you married?” Rosalie asked.

“No.”

“But when you do get married, it’s going to be to someone you like, right?”

“Duh.”

“We don’t have that luxury.” Rosalie wrapped her arms around her body.

“Very true. When I get married it won’t be to a fucking bitch who’ll run off to her father and rat on us the first chance she gets,” Myth said.

Rosalie stared at Myth and then she looked away. No defense. No denying.

Colt grabbed her arm and pulled her close to him. The one truth he couldn’t get away from today was that his bride looked so freaking beautiful. Her long raven hair fell around her, and it looked so soft. Small flowers had been placed in her hair, and she happened to look like an angel. Her face had some makeup but not enough to hide her natural beauty. She looked stunning. The dress molded to her body, defining all those rich curves that were meant to drive him insane, and they did.

All he wanted to do was fuck her. And he hated himself for it. This was the enemy. Her pussy was rotten. Everything about her was filth, but he wanted her. There was an ache in his balls. The club pussy had all come to him, offering to ride his dick, to sink him into oblivion, but he’d denied them all. He’d not gotten his nuts off in a long time, and it was starting to show.

His father had already told him what he needed to do. He’d fuck her cunt and show his father, as well as the club that she wasn’t a virgin. There was nothing pure or good about this woman. She was the blood of Daemon, an Evil Fucker through and through, and he’d never let her forget it. He’d make her pay.

“Get off me,” she said.

“You’ll be getting me off later. You know what’s going to happen, don’t you?”

She glared at him. “Yes, I know.”

“They think you’re a virgin,” Colt said. He didn’t care that Myth heard. The brother had already told him he didn’t agree with the enemy being close to home. Neither did Colt.

He would break Rosalie. He needed to make sure she would never put the club in danger.

“Get off me,” she said.

Her cheeks were bright red, but something in his gut told him she wasn’t a virgin. Her father lied, or she lied to him.

“Let’s see how many people care when I tell them your cunt has been used before.”

“Yeah, let’s,” Rosalie said. “You think I give a shit? The moment you … take me tonight, this marriage is complete. If you wanted your chance to humiliate me, you should have done it before now!”

Fuck. She was right. They would be bound. The marriage consummated and no way out other than divorce. All he’d get was the satisfaction of knowing he’d proven Daemon to be a liar, and to atone for the sins of her father, Rosalie would pay the price.

Myth cleared his throat. They had arrived.

Colt pulled away and as he did, Rosalie’s wrist caught his attention. There were darkening circles around her wrist.

“What happened?” he asked. He wasn’t a fool. This was done by a person. Her lover perhaps? Lover, what the fuck was he thinking? Why did he even care that she had a bruised wrist?

She pulled her hand away from him and hid it behind her back. “It’s nothing.”

All would be proven tonight. All he had to do was wait, to bide his time. To wait for the right opportunity. Once he did, everyone would know Daemon was a liar and Rosalie was just as bad for him. The start of his plan was working smoothly. Just as he’d hoped.

He pulled away and opened the car door. His mother had demanded that he at least be a gentleman this once. That was all she asked of him, and seeing as she did ask nicely, he didn’t see a reason to deny her. So, he held the door open and offered his hand. Rosalie went to ignore it. The clubs were going to be disappointed in her, not in him.
