“I’ve waited long enough for you. I wasn’t going to let anything stop me once I had my chance.”

“Now that you have me, what are you going to do with me?” His hands roam down to my ass, giving it a good squeeze. Shock and enjoyment shoot through me.

“Keep you.” He flips me onto the bed, pinning me down with a passionate kiss.

Chapter Five

Cameron

Today has been a wonderful first day of our honeymoon. She’s not pissed about the wedding, but I still plan to give her one. I just needed that damn ring on her finger and her legally mine. It’s insane how much I felt the pangs of jealousy in my heart, knowing damn well why she came down here. Elena wanted to have a fling with someone. She wanted to get over me. If I’d thought for a second that Elena thought I was with someone else, I would have squashed that shit. Although, she did say there was no way she could. Elena only agreed to dance with that asshole because I was watching and had a bunch of women wanting to buy me drinks earlier. I turned them down, of course, but she didn’t know that. No one could ever take her place in my heart or my bed.

We pull up to the shore after a day on a yacht. It’s getting late, so I promised her dinner and plenty more lovemaking. “You’re so damn gorgeous. I think we should have put a little more sunscreen on you, though. You got kissed by the sun a little too much.”

“Whose fault is that? Every time you put sunscreen on me, you’d find a new spot to lick and then the only cream I got on my skin was yours.”

“Sorry. I’ll take better care of you.”

“I wasn’t complaining, just straightening out the details. Besides, I’m not burned at all, although my lips do ache.”

“Oh yeah. Do they need my care?”

“Yes.” I slide my hands up her cheeks and into her hair, kissing her softly and then deepening it until she jumps in my arms.

“What the fuck?” a voice roars from the veranda of our villa. We both turn to see her brother staring at us. Shit.

“What are you doing here, Elias?”

“What am I doing here? I’ve been calling you for two days with no answer. Same with you, asshole. I call the hotel and they tell me that no one by the name of Elena Kostas is registered, but there is a Mr. and Mrs. King registered.”

“You registered us as Mr. and Mrs. King?”

“I thought I made that clear.” I kiss her temple. He can be pissed, but it’s adorable how surprised she sounds, like she hasn’t realized how fucking crazy I am about her.

“You haven’t made shit clear, except that you’ve been my friend only to fuck my sister.” He swings, and I don’t stop him. I take the punch, which causes my nose to bleed, but it’s cool because he immediately regrets it and my wife goes to tending to me.

“Watch your mouth on how you speak about my wife,” I say, taking out a handkerchief, but not my special one. That will stay put away forever. A framed treasure. “Now let’s go inside so I can get cleaned up and we can talk about this like adults.”

We walk into the house while Elena glares at her brother. “Calm down, love. Your brother’s only worried about you.”

“There’s nothing to worry about.” She grabs ice out of the ice machine that’s separate from the regular fridge and wraps it up with a kitchen towel.

“No, there isn’t. Do you want a beer?”

“I sure as fuck could use one.”

“I’ll get it.”

“No. Sit your pretty ass down. Better yet, we still have a dinner date. If you want to get ready, go on. I promise we’ll behave.”

“Elias?”

“I got it out of my system.”

“You better leave his face alone. I like it the way it is.” Elias puts his hands up and backs away. I walk into the kitchen and set the kitchen towel down. The bleeding has stopped. It’s not broken or anything, just a good shot.

I hand him a beer and take a seat. “So, here it is. I didn’t know I’d fall in love with Elena, but I did.”

“When—before or after she woke up drunk in your bed?”

“Don’t even dare insult me like that. I get you’re pissed, but I wouldn’t do that. The girl couldn’t stand up, and let’s just say that was the time I was least tempted to break my father’s rule.” I try to shake that memory from my head. I had the woman of my dreams in the bed where she belonged, but for all the wrong reasons. Elena rubs my back as I think about that night.

My security team on her new she’d been with some classmates hanging out, having drinks. I knew several of the guys had a thing for her because who the fuck wouldn’t? She’s a beautiful woman who screams perfection. Once they were leaving a bar, my team called to tell me she was starting to stumble, and I was on them in a second, carrying my woman back to my home where she barely knew her own fucking name.
