“Mrs. Williams, you’re only mine. Forever.” My heart does a flip. I know he’s serious, and that turns me on even more. Slowly we return to the intense passion. His cock slips almost all the way out before gliding back in, deeper with every thrust. I can’t contain the pleasure as he kisses me. Rolling my hips, I open up more for him and Nick loses control. With his firm grip on my thighs, he pistons into me. Fucking me so hard the headboard slams against the wall and I cry out, coming for the second time. My pussy clenches as he roars his release into me, spraying my walls with his load. A tiny thought of getting pregnant crosses my mind. Surprisingly, I’m not as freaked out by it as I should be.

What has he done to me? Lust is one hell of a drug.

Chapter 6

Nick

Waking up, I roll over to cold sheets. “Son of a bitch.” I jump out of bed, stark naked, looking around the house to find my woman. She’s not in any room. After the afternoon and night we shared, I can’t understand why she would run.

“Lia,” I call out several times without any response. I call down to security. “Did she leave?”

“Yes, sir. Half an hour ago.” I check my watch and it’s just after seven-thirty.

“Why the fuck didn’t you tell me?”

“I didn’t know I needed to.” That’s a terrible excuse that I refuse to accept.

“I did say she’s Mrs. Williams, right?”

“Yes, sir.”

“Well, then. I expect that to never happen again.”

“She told me that she’d be back this afternoon.”

“Yeah, okay.” I’m not holding my breath on that shit. I must have scared her with my talk of forever.

I hold back the urge to go to her dorm and drag her ass back. I can’t believe she ran out on me. Luckily I noticed she left at seven, so I messaged the florist on where to drop the flowers off. I take a calming breath and then hit the shower.

Lying on my sofa, I think about what happened in the past twenty-four hours. I scared her with my intensity, but there was no way around it. I’m fucking insanely obsessed with her. Now, how to get her back?

My phone rings, so I pick it up without checking. “Lia?”

“No, it’s Feldman.”

Disappointment sets in, but I act like the adult I am and say, “Oh, yes. What’s going on?”

“We wanted to let you know that the building is safe to enter. Most of the fire damage is to the backroom office. The rest is smoke and water damage.”

“Thank goodness. I want it opened again. Any idea of how it was started?”

“An accelerant was used in the office. It was poured over some papers on the desk, but it was contained, so that’s good. I’m assuming the explosion they heard came from the computer and printer in the office. Now, what is this about the fired woman?” I fill him in about Beth and her shady behavior. It’s not enough to arrest her, but if we have her on camera after she supposedly left then maybe, we can use that as leverage for a confession.

“Oh, I just thought of something. There’s a surveillance camera on the back door.”

“Great. Can I get the footage?”

“Absolutely.” All of the videos are downloaded to my server at the office, so Brie doesn’t have to worry about that. The fire chief continues to go over the finer details that I need to follow up with to get the business operational again. After ten more minutes, I end the call because I need to claim my woman.

My phone rings again. This time there’s a picture of Lia and me. I’m sleeping with my arm around her and she’s holding up the phone. “Hello, beautiful. Where the hell are you?”

“Didn’t you read my message?” she asks. There’s a little sass that I’m going to correct when I get her in my arms again. I groan, just imagining her round bottom in my face as I spank it.

“What message?” I didn’t see a message, but then again, I was a bit crazy this morning.

“The one on your phone. But never mind that. I just got your flowers.”

“Do you like them?”

“Do I like them? Are you nuts? They’re perfect. It’s too much for just Valentine’s Day. Don’t waste all your tricks so soon. You don’t want to outdo yourself. I have a birthday coming soon.” She sounds so excited and happy that I don’t care how much it costs or what it takes to make her that way all the damn time.

“Never. Now, keep your pretty ass at your dorm, and I’ll be there to get you.”

“I have a class to go to this morning. I’m leaving for it right now as a matter of fact. I’ll call you when I get there, and you can pick me up when it’s over. Unless you have to work.”
