“On one condition. You’ll give me one of your men. Someone discreet, who knows how to stay inconspicuous. I don’t want any trouble.”

Hank frowned. “That should be doable. Might even be a good thing for you to have an extra pair of hands if shit hit the fan. Those fucking Jackals think we killed one of their men, and they’re growing more rabid every day. Bunch of psychos.”

Zolt nodded. “I’ll need to make sure they don’t see him at my shop. But I think we have a deal.”

Hank grinned and once Zolt stood, they squeezed hands to make things final. The Smokeys were no good guys despite their facade of family values, but Zolt still felt more kinship with them than with the Jackals. Even if just for the fact that a more stable business contact meant stable money.

They exchanged some more pleasantries, but once Kurt, the VP and Hank’s brother in one, stormed in, Zolt knew to show himself out.

One couldn’t walk through the courtyard without meeting someone, but when Zolt saw Rain emerge from the garage, his smile couldn’t have been wider. If she worked alongside Leo today, her absence meant that the prey was on its own, vulnerable to Zolt’s lure.

“Finished for the day?” he asked. The last thing he needed was her returning in a bad moment.

Rain grinned. “I’m taking my woman out to a fancy dinner. Get yourself a husband, Zolt, and you’ll be reaping the rewards.”

Zolt laughed and winked at Rain. “I’m all about reaping the rewards of other people’s husbands.”

Rain shook her head but waved at him and walked off, leaving Zolt alone with the excitement of seeing Leo again.

So maybe the guy hadn’t been willing to go for a drunk shower blowjob, but he had given Zolt a goodnight kiss. It had to mean something.

The main entrance to the garage was at the back of the building, away from all the prying eyes, and as Zolt drove his motorcycle around it, the heat simmering under his skin became hard to stand. It was only when he faced the club tattoo on Leo’s naked back that it pushed past his neck and cooked his brain.

It wasn’t a surprise to see Leo working topless on such a warm day. Glistening with sweat, with a few smudges of dirt on his arms, he looked more like the sexual fantasy version a hot mechanic than a man of flesh and bone. Zolt wasn’t complaining.

Leo was bent over the open hood of a car and fiddling with something, muttering to himself. Oh, how Zolt wished he could walk up to Leo from behind, push his head down into all those greasy car parts, slide down the briefs peeking out of the jeans, and fuck him right here while Leo moaned about his new girlfriend coming back any minute.

He left the bike at the entrance and walked into the cluttered space smelling of grease and motor oil. That same smell surely clung to Leo’s glistening flesh too.

“Just a sec,” Leo said, still bent over, all his attention on the vehicle he was working on.

Zolt smirked. It was men like Leo he wanted to be surrounded with during his retirement. Pliant but not too much. Beautiful but confused.

He exhaled, gaze briefly trailing to a glass of water placed on the edge of a dusty counter. He didn’t even think. He grabbed it, stepped close to Leo, and poured a few drops between his shoulder blades. The clear liquid drizzled down the toned back like tears shed by the tattooed skull.

“Hey!” Leo said with a smile and straightened, already looking over his shoulder. But he went rigid the moment their eyes met. “W-what are you doing here?”

This was interesting. “Who did you think I was?” Zolt asked, watching droplets of sweat maneuver between smears of black on Leo’s chest.

Leo was somehow more handsome than Zolt remembered, and the flush creeping up his neck made him yet more tempting. “Mona, Rain’s wife. She likes doing shit like that. So… what’s up?” He slipped away from the narrow space between Zolt and the car, and grabbed a towel to wipe his hands.

Zolt shrugged. “I wanted to service my bike. And find out if you got home safely,” he said, staring at Leo’s arms. They were long and veiny, masculine, just like he liked them.

Leo laughed and ran his fingers through his short hair. “Yeah, one crazy night, huh? I did actually have a little meeting with a street sign, but got out with only a few scrapes and bruises.”

“Anywhere in particular?” Zolt asked and took a step closer, tempted to sense what his mark smelled of today.

Among the dusty scents of the garage, the herby aroma Zolt picked up had to be Leo’s cologne.

Leo glanced to the garage door, but he didn’t have to worry. They were alone. “Just on my left arm and leg. Nothing major.”
