The feeling of his lips against mine was still replaying in my head, over and over, on a loop that I was pretty sure I’d dream about for months. This time, when I told him I loved him, I wasn’t sure if he had any clue just how deeply I meant it.

A hint of a smile appeared on his face. “Let’s get out of here,” he said.

TRISTAN

“I’m so sorry, Blue,” I was telling Jack, over and over again in my dream, as I stared down at my insistently hard cock. “I don’t know why it won’t go away.”

In my dream, Jack had been doing typical Jack things around his house—fixing a creaky floorboard, relocating a bird’s nest in the backyard. He walked into his bedroom to find me naked, hard as a diamond, red-faced and guilty as I sat on the edge of his bed. In my dream-world, I had no idea what to do.

He looked at me, then down to my cock, and then back up to my eyes again.

“You know I’ve always got you, Tris,” he said, taking a step forward and putting his leg between mine, prying my legs open. He slowly dropped to his knees, kissing slow and wet up the inside of my thigh, that perfect fluff of sandy-blond hair brushing against my skin softly enough to give me goosebumps.

Realization formed in the pit of my stomach, some mixture of fear and intense excitement, like I was about to get access to some very forbidden fruit.

In my dream I watched as Jack’s ruddy lips closed around the tip of my cock and he sucked me deep, taking care of me, like sucking my dick was just one more favor in a life full of favors he did for me.

His gaze flickered up to meet mine. The beautiful blue pools of his eyes looking at me with only one message in them: I want you to come. Come for me, Tris.

“It’s so fucking good,” I said under my breath. “God, I didn’t know it would be this good—”

My body twitched and jerked and with it, I woke up.

Disappointment slowly flooded through me as my dream world evaporated, and I blinked my eyes open. The golden light coming in around the edges of the slats on Jack’s bedroom window was strong enough that it had late in the morning. I’d clearly slept way longer than I should have. My head was foggy and still heavy with sleep. It wasn’t the worst hangover I’d ever felt, but I sure as hell didn’t feel like a million bucks.

“What the fuck,” I whispered softly as I sat up in bed, remembering my dream. The other side of Jack’s big king-size bed was empty. We’d both crashed out after having delicious sandwiches last night, sharing the bed like we had countless times before.

There was a note on his nightstand.

Out grabbing my truck and some doughnuts from Mimi’s. Maybe the chocolate peanut butter glazed will be enough to convince you to stay in Kansas, fucker. Back home soon. Xx, Blue

Of course he remembered my favorite. Because he knew my favorite everything.

Guilt crept in as I put down the note. I turned my dream over and over again in my mind. I almost felt the need to apologize to Jack, even though it had only been a dream. I’d had plenty of weird sex dreams about celebrities or random acquaintances in the past, but they’d all been about women, and certainly never about my goddamn best friend.

I groaned, reaching over to my phone and seeing a text from one of my brothers back in Colorado.

>>Shawn: Call me, T.

I dialed him up, sinking back into Jack’s bed and cradling my phone to my ear.

“Morning, sunshine,” Shawn said.

“You sound awfully chipper.”

“Rough morning?”

“Jack took me out to his favorite bar last night,” I said, massaging my temple with my fingertips. “It was actually a ton of fun.”

“Nathan and I went out drinking last night, too,” Shawn said. My older brothers were like two peas in a pod, and usually did just about everything together.

“Can I ask you a weird question?”

“I love weird questions,” Shawn said.

“I know we weren’t that close until recently, but if I’m going to be moving back to Colorado, you’re going to get my TMI stories way too much, anyway.”

“Bring it on,” Shawn said.

“I just woke up from a dream where Jack was… well, he was sucking me off.”

Shawn laughed so hard on the other end of the line that I could hear the sound of it echoing off his walls.

“Is that right, Tristan?”

“I knew you’d laugh.”

“Because that’s hilarious. My little brother is kind of bisexual in his dreams, huh?”

“I’ve got no fuckin’ clue,” I said. “It’s the first time I’ve ever had a dream like that. Especially about Jack. God.”

“Did it gross you out?” Shawn asked.
