I heard the wedding was lovely, and held exceptionally close to the river that you tried to drown me in. I also discovered after visiting your mother last month, and coming upon her stash of baby gifts piled up in her living room like some hoarder, that you’d done what you said. Your mother, Sarah, had enough diapers and teddy bears for the entire city in her house. That told me all I needed to know. It was true. You didn’t go through with attempting to kill me because you knocked your woman up. You are expecting a child.

I don’t know if the wedding proposal happened before or after the pregnancy, but according to basic math, she was pregnant before she walked down the aisle. Regardless, bringing life into the world is a precious gift, and I offer my congratulations for that as well. Another Wilde boy is coming, and I am elated. Now, let’s get down to business.

I hate you.

I hate you to your rotten, stinking black core, Kage because you didn’t try to kill me once, but twice. You used to be my favorite grandchild, but you betrayed me. You were my first grandson, and you meant everything to me. You backstabbed me and lied to my face, and then blamed me for having you institutionalized instead of murdered, which is what your unreasonable ass actually deserved. Insanity is a demon, and you are full of it. That’s the thing about craziness though. Crazy does not mean stupid.

In fact, you are one of the smartest and vilest people I know. Have you told your wife about all the bones you’ve collected, starting in your teens? How you’re a psychopathic killer and have a few interesting mental diagnoses? You don’t murder out of necessity or honor, which is understandable. You do it for fun. All you need is one tiny excuse to put a hole in someone’s head, and you’re game. Hell, they could sneeze wrong, and you’d do it.

You also single-handedly destroyed a long time alliance that I had created and cultivated with the Sivero Family. You tortured and murdered a small militia within his company, and you shot and savagely beat, then set on fire, his poor nephew, who was for all intents and purposes, considered Sivero royalty, and was only following orders. You should be ashamed of yourself. He made it clear that his loathing for me outweighed his aversion for you, consequently, he used you to get revenge against me.

All that said, I still understand your point of view and why you’ve done the majority of the things you’ve done. It was a matter of survival in your eyes, and it’s my blood that runs through you. I helped raise you, so when I look at how you handle these situations, no matter how badly, I must also examine myself. You told me a long time ago that you saw me take out many men when you were a young child, and that it damaged you.

Maybe it did. I wasn’t shielded from the truth of the world, and neither were my sons, so I saw no need to shield you, either. What I do know for a fact, grandson, is your brand of violence is yours, and yours alone. It’s certainly not for the faint of heart, and it’s overkill to the tenth degree. You’re sick, only now you know how to hide it in mixed company. Speaking of company, at this point, we already know that you will not be working for Wilde Enterprises. You’ve shown just how unholy you are, and it’s abundantly clear that you are not fit for helping to run the corporation because I can’t trust you after you conspired against me with Mr. Sivero.

That relationship would have been salvageable, had you and he not worked together in the manner in which you did. A line was crossed, and there will be repercussions directed at the Sivero Family for crossing that line, because I am not going to accept that lying down. He used my grandson against me. He knew that would be worse than a gun or a knife; and far more painful. This situation has caused problems with my social status and other alliances. Regardless, he’s not blood. You are. Therefore, per my promise, I am offering you a wedding gift.

Though you are financially secure, I am still going to electronically deposit money into your personal account. By the time you read this, it’ll already be done. Don’t worry about how I got your bank routing number information, I have my ways, as you should know by now. I will be giving you three million total. Two million is for you and your new bride, one million for my great grandson that will be born soon. Do with this money as you see fit, though I imagine that some of it may be used for your wildlife animal sanctuary that you and that conniving, underhanded wife of yours, set up before your ex-wife could take you to court.
