“Sit.”

Once more, she obeys without argument. I watch in awe as he binds her ankles to either side of the chair, her legs spread. She’s dressed in a T-shirt I gave her since Crow discarded her pajamas. Her body may be covered, but I can’t stop my mind from recalling the smooth flesh of her luscious tits. How her nipples peaked.

“What are you going to do to me?” Her voice is a broken whisper of worry. Those beautiful eyes shimmer as she looks up at him. Once her hands are bound behind her back, Crow stops before her, crouching down until they’re eye to eye.

“I’m going to ask you a series of questions,” he informs her. “Hawk here will administer any punishment he deems fitting.”

“Punishment? For what?” The surprise on her face is clear.

“Tell us something, Lucille,” Crow starts, as I move in behind him. I want to see the look on her face as he asks the questions. “When did you learn your father was a monster?”

“What?”

“When?”

The tears shimmering in her eyes, hanging onto her lashes, fall when she blinks. The wet trail trickling down her cheeks makes me want to see more of the same. I want her salty emotion to soak her smooth skin until she’s nothing more than a blubbering mess.

“I-I was working as a sitter,” she whispers, and we watch as her lashes flutter, but Crow won’t stand for her looking away. I’m right in my thoughts when his hands snatches her chin, forcing her to open her eyes and look at him.

“You face us as you speak,” he grits, his thumb and forefinger squeezing the flesh in his grip. He doesn’t allow guilt to rule his actions, he doesn’t allow affection to take a hold and stop him from doing what he needs to.

“I was working as a sitter, for a few families in the city,” Lucille speaks now, her watchful gaze flicking between us. “I was fifteen when I started, I grew to love the families I worked for.”

“And what was your father doing at the time?” We’re finally going to get the answers we have searched for since we were barely eighteen. It’s been too long. We’d all left home to study abroad. When Falcon’s mom called to tell us about the horrors our families had gone through, we went home. We raced home.

I need answers about what occurred the moment I walked into my house and

saw her standing beside her father as he took what wasn’t his to take.

“H-He worked away from home most months,” Lucille admits. “We hardly saw him most times, and when we did, he was distant.” Her gaze lands on mine, and for a moment, I want to believe her. I want her to be innocent in all this, but she’s not.

The police report confirms she was present, she never worked for my family, but she was in my home. The link though doesn’t make sense. Granted, we lived on the same street, but my folks never wanted a babysitter.

Why would she have been there if not to help him?

“Why were you at my house that night?” I ask, my voice rough with pain as I recall the moment she turned her head and looked right at me. I was mostly in the shadows, but she would have seen me standing there.

“I-I…” Lucille shakes her head for a moment. “I don’t remember,” she tells me, her eyes holding mine. Every nerve in my body wants to attack. “I don’t ever remember being there,” she says and I lose all control and lunge at her.

My hand fits around her throat easily. The delicate column fragile against my touch, and her pulse riots as I squeeze the air from her lungs.

I lean forward, my nose almost touches hers. The warmth of her worried breaths making my body ache for more. To do more. “Do not lie to me,” I hiss in her face. “I saw you that night, standing beside him and you looked right at me.”

I don’t give her time to speak. My head is spinning with the scent of her. She may not have showered in two days, there’s still a sweetness wafting from her and it makes my cock hard, and my brain consider all the things I could do to her.

“I-I…” she croaks once more, and I let up my hold on her neck. “You don’t remember everything,” she tells me as the tears continue to fall. Her words though, they give me a pause.

“What do you mean?”

My brothers are behind me, listening to every word. They all need to know what the fuck is going on. I want the truth and I want it now, or I will start hurting her, and she won’t like it. I’ll make sure every inch of her smooth, pale flesh is tainted with me.
