“I took him in my hand and rubbed it -- the head -- all over my face. God, I’ll never forget the sensation of holding him and touching him like that the first time. The skin was so soft, and he was rock-hard ... I’m cut, but Valenti isn’t, and I remember the way he looked so different from me, from anything I’d ever seen and yet so beautiful, too.” O’Brian sighed and pressed even harder against Valenti’s lap, pinning the imprisoned cock firmly between his round, tight cheeks as he spoke.

Valenti felt like his eyes were going to roll up in his head. He might explode if this went on much longer ... but his partner was on a roll and seemingly unstoppable. And how did O’Brian know he was uncircumcised anyway? It wasn’t like it was something they had ever discussed.

“I took a while to savor the feel of him in my hand and against my face. I loved the way he smelled -- spicy and hot. Then I took him in my mouth and found out he tasted even better. By that time he was beggin’ for it, clenchin’ the bedspread in his fists all tense and tight ... God, I almost came just from hearing the way he said my name as I took him down my throat ...”

That was it -- Valenti felt he absolutely could not stand another word. He was going to have a coronary and die right here and now if O’Brian didn’t stop talking and get off his lap.

“Uh, Sean? You’re kind of squashing me here,” he muttered through gritted teeth, pushing O’Brian firmly away.

“Huh? Oh, sorry, babe,” O’Brian said absently, scooting over so that he was mostly in his own chair again. “Well, anyway,” he said, leaning around Valenti to continue the conversation with Paul and Remy, “that’s how it was. And we can’t get enough of each other ever since.”

“No, I should imagine not,” Paul murmured, and Valenti thought that if he’d gotten any more turned on by O’Brian’s bogus first-time story, the little round glasses perched on his nose would have steamed up.

“Well, that was gorgeous and so romantic.” Remy grinned at them, also very affected by the story. “It’ll be perfect for Paul’s book.” He sighed. “I just love a happy ending.”

“Gets happier every night and no end in sight yet,” O’Brian had the nerve to say before Valenti elbowed him sharply. “Ow, babe, what ...?”

“Dessert,” Valenti said shortly, and sure enough, the white-coated waiters were bringing around some kind of gooey chocolate confection that looked like it had about a thousand calories a bite. Valenti usually avoided anything this unhealthy, but he dug in with a relish he didn’t feel in order to keep his mouth too full to talk, although he didn’t taste a thing. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw his partner also digging in with apparent enjoyment.

It was with immense relief that he finally pushed back his plate and said cordial goodbyes to both Paul and Remy. At last the interminable meal was over. But his relief was short-lived, because as they pushed away from the table and prepared to go back to their room, he saw Conrad headed their way.

Chapter Seven

“I understand there was some trouble between your and two of my security team earlier today.” Conrad, apparently not one for formalities, got to the point immediately, his cool shark’s eyes flashing as he cornered them at the end of the massive dining hall.

“Yes, it was ... most unfortunate,” Valenti said coolly. “A misunderstanding on our part, but understandable, I think, since we’re new to the RamJack.”

“Understandable if you are who you say you are.” Conrad frowned at both of them, sizing them up as he spoke. “Thaddeus, my chief of security, wasn’t at all convinced of your ... ah ... orientation.”

Valenti felt his partner tensing behind him, but he put a hand on O’Brian’s shoulder, a gesture he had used a thousand times before. Take it easy; I’ve got it covered. O’Brian relaxed as he always did, his body language conveying his unshakable faith in his partner. Valenti hoped that faith wasn’t misplaced this time.

“Are you saying we’re here under false pretenses?” he demanded. Might as well beard the lion in his den.

“I am not saying anything -- yet,” Conrad answered. “But you should be aware that the consequences for such actions could be ... dire. Once or twice I have had some trouble of this kind -- reporters sneaking in, wanting an exclusive scoop on the gay life or the kink scene. I do not say you are in that league, but you should be aware that there are serious repercussions for such actions. Am I making myself clear?”

“Perfectly.” Valenti felt his anger rising, or maybe it was just the frustrated lust he’d been fighting all night and for most of a month before that. “You think we’re straight. Well, let me ask you, Mr. Conrad, how often do you see straight men doing this?” He turned suddenly to O’Brian, took his partner’s face in his hands, and, with no warning, kissed him hard on the mouth.
