“Yes, you can call me after school hours. If there’s a problem and your parents are at work or you’re not sure what to do, you call me.”

Hopefully before that happened, he’d figure out how to talk to Jason about his children without creating an explosion that registered on the Richter scale. Abe froze when he realized an adult version of a temper tantrum was his only concern. He hadn’t so much as considered the possibility that Jason would walk away from their relationship if he got upset. After rethinking the situation and the possible outcomes, he came to the same conclusion—Jason might get mad at him, he might yell and stomp, but he wouldn’t leave him. Not because of a bad week at work, not because of all the internal fears he was still processing, and not because Abe meddled into parts of Jason’s life he wanted to keep off-limits.

Smiling to himself at that realization, Abe exchanged phone numbers with Kris and weighed his options for how to broach the topic with her father. It was Thursday, which was generally a full day at work for Jason, so he wouldn’t get home until late, and they both had to work the next morning. It wasn’t a good night for a difficult conversation. But Jason wasn’t on call that weekend and his kids would be with their mother, so Abe would be staying at Jason’s townhouse, as usual.

If he worked really fast and focused all his free time that night and the next morning on getting grades entered and the final exam prepared, he could probably leave school on Friday early enough to hit the grocery store, make one of Jason’s favorite dinners, set a relaxing mood with candles and soft music, and then talk to Jason about Kris’s concerns. Or he could work at a sane pace, finish the grades after school on Friday, pick up a box of chicken on the way home, and spend his energy fucking Jason into a relaxed and malleable state before dropping the unwanted conversation on him.

ABE LISTENED for the garage door and pounced the second Jason walked inside. He pinned Jason to the wall, then sucked on his neck and climbed him like a tree.

“What’s gotten into you?” Jason asked breathlessly as he cupped and kneaded Abe’s butt.

“I want you.” Abe pressed his lips to Jason’s, kissing and licking as he tugged Jason’s shirt up.

“You always want me,” Jason pointed out, arrogantly and accurately. “But you don’t usually greet me at the door naked.”

“I missed you.” Abe dropped to his feet, peeled Jason’s shirt off, and tossed it onto the washing machine before dropping to a squat and working on his shoes.

“Christ, baby,” Jason said when Abe yanked his pants and briefs down. “Let me catch up.”

“I love your dick,” Abe whispered reverently as he held Jason’s cock and rubbed his cheek against it. “Your balls too.” He buried his face in Jason’s groin, licked his testicles, and inhaled deeply. “Mmm,” he moaned as the musky taste and scent took him from aroused to pulsing.

“Okay, I’m caught up,” Jason said. “Damn.”

Light-headed with arousal, Abe continued feasting on Jason’s balls as he reached between his own legs and took himself in hand.

“I want to fuck you,” Jason said, his voice strained. “Let’s take this upstairs.” When Abe whimpered and sucked on Jason’s glans, making no move to get up, Jason tugged him to his feet. “We’re going upstairs to finish this, and then you’re going to tell me what got into you.” He grabbed Abe’s hand and hustled them out the room, Abe in tow.

“If we do it right, the answer will be you.”

“What?” Jason asked.

“You said you’re taking me upstairs, fucking me, and then asking what got into me,” Abe reminded him. “So that’ll be you. Getting into me.”

“You’re making jokes?” Jason said incredulously. “You get my dick so hard it’s about to break off and now you’re making jokes?”

The townhouse had three stories. The first was the living area—laundry room, powder room, kitchen, dining room, living room, and family room. The second, which was where Jason’s kids slept, contained two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It was dark when Abe was there. And the third floor had Jason’s spacious bedroom, bathroom, and closet.

“Why would it break off?” Abe asked as he reached his free hand around Jason’s hip and fondled his cock. “I take really good care of it.”

“Abe,” Jason groaned as he bucked into Abe’s palm and stumbled.

“Uh-huh,” Abe said, his mouth so close to Jason’s back, he knew Jason could feel his hot breath.

“Are you trying to make me lose my mind?” Jason asked, speeding up his pace as they finally reached the third-floor landing.

“If it means you’re going to give me what I need, yeah.”

Jason dragged Abe into the bedroom and tossed him onto the mattress. “And what is it you need?” Keeping his gaze locked on Abe’s splayed form, he walked over to the nightstand, his stiff cock bobbing and reaching for his belly button.
